The SAM4s SPS-2000 is no longer made. It has been replaced by the SAM4s SAP-6600 with SAM4pos application

The SAM4s SPS-2000 is a very popular POS cash register system for some very good reasons. While it looks like a computer it is not and that is a good thing. The SAM4s SPS-2000 is an embedded POS system rather then a software based computer workstation. Why is that better you may be asking? Well that is what makes it so affordable and durable. The SAM4s SPS-2000 does not have a hard drive, can't get a virus, no Windows OS to upgrade or mess with.

The SAM4s SPS-2000 was designed for food service although it is equally at home in retail. The SPS-2000 has been deployed in Table Service restaurants, quick service, cafeteria, bars and lunges and many more. On the retail side we have installed the SPS-2000 in C-Stores, liquor stores, smoke shops and more. The SPS-2000 in retail can use bar code scanners and even a scanner with a built in age verification feature.

The SAM4s SPS-2000 is a modular system which of course means you select the components and connect them together. Often this results in a cleaner looking installation and possibly with the cash drawer under the counter.

Of course the SPS-2000 interfaces with credit card payments, gift card payments and EBT. Integration will save you time and money by speeding up customer flow and virtually eliminating costly double keying entries.
