Take up motor for several of the popular SAM4s cash register models. This is the replacement journal take up motor for the SAM4s SPS-340, SPS-345, ER-940 and ER-945 registers.

If your journal spool stopped rolling this part probably needs to be replaced. It could be something else but in most cases it is the motor. This is a pretty simple repair but make sure and unplug your register before making the repair.
